2022/23 Admission:Lasu Repeals decision, begins alloting of provisional admission offer on Jamb Caps

The Lagos state university management as at the time of filling this Report had repealed the Enshrined decision of commencement of allocation of Provisional admission offer on School portal first for all suitable qualified candidate.

This was made known to the general public few hours ago,as few of the applicants had began noticing positive changes on their Jamb caps instead of the Institution’s official website.

All Applicants of the Lagos state university for the 2022/23 UTME/DE are Enjoined not to be perturbed as this is a new development directly from the University management.

Prospective applicants are to ensure their O’level result and A’level result has been successfully uploaded on their Jamb and it’s Reflecting in order to be considered for provisional admission.

NB: A’level result doesn’t reflect on Jamb Caps.

More Importantly,they are to cross check their details particularly Courses applied for and Institution if it correlates with the one selected as desired on Jamb Caps and school portal respectively.

Should incase it doesn’t conform with each other,they should proceed to any nearby Jamb accredited CBT center or office for rectification.

Additionally,All Applicants are to note that the Provisional admission offer allocation which began on Jamb caps will last for months,hence, should they yet to notice any positive changes on their Jamb caps upon the Successful completion of the aforesaid action, they are urged not to flinch and be rest assured that the Provisional admission offer will surely exhibit.

In addendum, Candidates are to note that the Admission offer is opened to all Regardless of the Stream applied for, being Regular programme with Entrepreneurship as well as Regular programme without Entrepreneurship.

To round it off, Concerned Applicants are to follow the enumerated procedures below to access their admission status on Jamb Caps.

These procedures are as follows;

1. Visit Jamb caps portal via your browser especially chrome by clicking here
2. Input your Gmail address and your password received from Jamb via Gmail mailbox.
3. Confirm the Examination year by ensuring it is (2022).
4. Change your browser from mobile site to desktop site.
5. Click on check Admission status at the first homepage (Dashboard).
6. Input your UTME Registration number in the rectangular box at the top of the page.
7. Click on Access my caps to direct you to my caps profile.
8. Click on Admission status at the left hand corner of my caps profile.
9. Click on Accept to accept your Admission offer.
10. Anticipate for Congratulatory message from jamb and proceed to print your Jamb Admission letter.
11. Once the Congratulatory message had popped up on your notification screen, Click on Accept button to accept the Admission offer.
