Preparatory to the commencement of the 2023/2024 academic session in the Lagos State University, Ojo. The University’s Senate had on Wednesday, 3rd of January, 2024 announced the Resumption date for academic activities.
This was contained in the 2023/2024 Approved Academic calendar released by the LASU CIPR, E-signed by the Coordinator of the Center for Information public relations, Mrs, Thomas Onashile Oluwayemisi, dated 3rd of January, 2023, made available to the newsmen.
The Release of the Academic calendar signalled the commencement of 2023/2024 academic activities, As the University community have been curious on the schedule for the next academic session.
It is hereby announced to the notice of the Returning and newly Admitted students of the Lagos State University, that the long-awaited academic calendar is now out and can be accessed below.
According to the Academic calendar, The Lagos State University will commence her academic activities for the aforesaid session on the 15th of January, 2024 as newly Admitted and Returning students are to Resume for Registration.
This is expected to span from 15th of January till 22nd of February, 2023.
Lectures for the 2023/2024 session is expected to commence on 22nd of January, 2024 and end by 29th of March, 2024.
While the First semester Examination will begin on the 1st of April, 2024.
In summary, The First semester will span for 18 weeks and will end on the 16th of May, 2024. While the Second semester will commence on the 20th of May, 2024.
