The Senate at it’s meeting on Thursday, 23rd February 2023, reversed its earlier decision on the schedule of the Second Semester Examinations for the 2021/2022 Academic Session and DECIDED that the on-going examinations and all academic activities be SUSPENDED from 6.00 p.m. Thursday, 23rd February, till Tuesday, 14th March, 2023. The decision was in view of prevailing socio-economic and security challenges in the country.
Consequently, all students are DIRECTED to proceed on Three (3) weeks break to allow them exercise their franchise in the up-coming general elections scheduled for Saturday, 25th February, 2023 and Saturday, 11th March, 2023 respectively.
The University management made this known to the entire University community via her official Twitter handle.
It was further stated the examination new schedule will be rolled out as and when due,A revised Timetable for the Examination will be communicated in due course.
The Postponed Examination will continue as soon as the Election Break ends.
