Unimaid rescinds decision on first semester Exam date || 2022/2023 session
It could be recalled vividly that Admission hub earlier reported that the University management fixed 1st of June,2022 as the date for commencement of 2022/23 first semester Examination.
The Top management Committte (TMC) at its 124th regular meeting held on Thursday 9th May,2023 considered the concern of provost and Deans expressed in their meeting with the University management in which they observed that many lecturers are yet to cover syllabuses of returning students while many new students are yet to complete their Registration. Based on that,the TMC recommended that the examination dates be reviewed in order to ensure effective and efficient coverage of all syllabuses.
This was contained in a new Internal memorandum with the reference number,R/ADM.10/Vol.XII, signed and approved by the University’s Registrar,Ahmad A.lawan.
In accordance with the Memorandum,The Vice-Chancellor has,on behalf of the Senate of the University, approved the review of the examination dates for both returning and new students as follows:
- Examinations for returning students will commence from 19th June,2023.
- Examinations for new students will commence from 3rd July,2023.
