The Senate at its 400th Meeting held on Thursday,26th of January,2023 expelled 27 students and Rusticated eight others for allegedly being Involved in Examination Misconduct.
According to the statement signed by the Director, Directorate of Examinations,Admissions and Records,Hajiya Amina,Umar Abdullahi said the Senate decision was in accordance with the category 20.17 (Ai,iii,iv,v,vi,vii,x and xii) of the University’s general regulations as the case may be.
The expelled students were;
Rusticated Students are as follows;
Peter Samuel Odeanason (ENG/16/CHE/00141) was however exonerated.
The following cases were deferred due to inadequate information about their cases,hence,the faculty/School were requested to provide the needed Information and represent them for consideration.
1. SPS/19/MIT/00025 Abubakar I. Musa.
2. SCE/19/BSE/00307. Amina Usman Zubair.
While the case of Candidate-SCE/19/CRE/00169- Abdulrazak Hussaini was to be referred to the Students’ Disciplinary Committee for Consideration.
