The stage is set for the 30th Convocation Ceremony of the Federal University of
Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) holding from Friday, August 4, 2023 to Saturday,
August 12, 2023.
According to the University Management, the week-long events is expected to commence with Jumat Service on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the University Mosque by 1p.m.
This will be followed by an Interdenominational Church Service at the University Chapel by 9:30a.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
Convocation Press Conference will hold on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10am, after which there will be commissioning of projects at various sites on campus starting from 11 a.m.
It will continue on Friday, August 11, 2023 with Convocation Ceremony and Award of First Degrees to deserving graduands of the University by 10 a.m. at Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.
A week-long events will peak with Convocation Lecture and Award of Higher Degrees on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10a.m.
The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by former Minister of Education and former Vice-President of the World Bank (Africa Region), Dr. Oby Ezekwesilli.
Convocation Luncheon will draw the curtain of the 30th Convocation Ceremony at International Scholars Centre by 1pm.
