The Management of the Federal University, Otuoke, is pleased to inform the entire University community that the 12th matriculation ceremony for the set of students 2023/24 has been scheduled to hold as follows;
Date: Friday, March 1, 2024.
Time: 10:00am.
Venue; University Auditorium, East campus.
On the collection and return of Academic gowns, the fresh students are to note the following;
Tuesday, February 27: Collection of Gowns by faculty officers in Senate office.
Wednesday, February 28: collection of academic gowns by students from their faculty office on presentation of school fees payment receipts.
Monday, March 4: Return of academic gowns by students ends.
It’s highly imperative for the matriculants to note that any student who fails to return his/her matriculation gown by 4:00pm on Monday, 4th of March, 2024 shall be charged the sum of #2,000 for each day that the gown remain unreturned.
Strikingly as well, Any student who damages his/her gown shall pay the sum of #20,000 only to the Bursary department and bring the receipt of payment to the Registrar or have his/her examination result withheld until the aforesaid payment is made.
