Management of the Tai-solarin University of Education (TASUED) Ijebu-ode,had debunked the reopening of the University campus tomorrow, being 13th of June,2023.

This piece of Information was relayed to the public and the University community following the untrue and purported Information making rounds the Internet that the University management ordered the closure of campus for two weeks only.

Recall that about 2 weeks ago, Admission hub earlier reported that the University management ordered the closure of campus in the wake of the IMAWEJE/students’ clash,the malicious Information said that the varsity will be reopened after two weeks which is in stark contrast to the University management team plan.

In a Special release rolled out by the University’s Registrar,Dapo Oke,FCIA,the University management reiterated that no decision has been made as regards the reopening of the University campuses,hence,the varsity is still close till further notice.

The Special release further stated that the University Senate would hold a meeting tomorrow,13th June,2023 to receive and consider the reports of the committee(set up to investigate the cause of the riot) and thereafter take necessary decisions as regards the reopening of the University.

The Management team also put it on record that there would be an official announcement for the reopening of the Institution.

Therefore, Members of the public are hereby Enjoined to monitor the media for the official announcement.

Strikingly,as well, Parents and guardians are advised not to allow their wards back on campus until the University is officially re-opened.
