The Lagos state university, Ojo, LASU, had magnanimously announced the extension of sales of the screening application form for the 2023/2024 academic session.
In a statement released by the Coordinator of the LASU center for information public Relations (CIPR), Broadcast on the University’s official Facebook and other relevant platforms, the new screening application form deadline is now 10th of October, 2023.
The screening application form deadline for the aforesaid session was initially closed on the 31st of August, 2023.
The extension of the deadline and reactivation of the application portal by the LASU-DICT came after series of pleadings from the General public and Intending Applicants, particularly the Aspirants whose NECO results are yet to be released.
According to the statement released by MRS THOMAS-ONASHILE, Coordinator of the LASU CIPR, the sales of the screening application form will span for 2 weeks, starting as from 26th of September, 2023 till 10th of October, 2023.
As of the time of filling this Report, it was gathered that the University’s DICT, Directorate of Information communication and Technology, exhibited an increment in the screening application fee.
The screening application fee which was initially pegged for #15,000 for Non-Indigenes Applicants has been hiked to #20,000.
Bizarrely too, the new payment portal which was integrated is expected to incur a miscellaneous expenditure of #800.
It’s Worthy of note for the General public to note that the screening application portal is reopened for All, therefore, Information stating that it was reopened for only Applicants who recently did change of Institution or JUPEB candidates should be disregarded as such doesn’t exist from the University.
