The Lagos State scholarship Board, LSSB, has on Tuesday, 9th of April, fixed the Bursary and scholarship awards CBE as well as documentation exercise dates for all 2022/23 Applicants.
The notice of schedule was contained in a paper E-signed and approved by the Board’s executive secretary, Abdul-rahman Lekki, made available to the newsmen.
As encapsulated in the paper, the board wishes to notify Indigenous students of Lagos State in tertiary institutions across the country, who applied for the 2022/23 Bursary and scholarship awards that the Computer based Exam, CBE, for scholarship applicants will hold on Saturday, 4th May 2024 while the Documentation verification exercise for both awards will commence on Monday, 29th of April till Monday, 13th of May, 2024.
The Documentation verification exercise venue for the 2022/23 Applicants as reliably informed will be segmented in accordance with their Division.
Pursuant to the above, Applicants from Ikorodu division are to visit LASUSTECH, main campus, on the 29th of April, 2024, Monday till 30th of April, 2024 for their verification exercise.
Applicants who hailed from Epe division are to visit the Lagos State University of Education, Epe campus on Monday and Tuesday, 29th and 30th of April, 2024 for their documentation exercise.
In the same vein, Indigenous Applicants of Badagry are to visit the Lagos State University of Education, Otto-Ijanikin campus on Monday and Tuesday, 29th and 30th of April, 2024 for their verification exercise.
In addendum, Applicants of Lagos division are to visit St. Georges Primary school, falomo, Ikoyi on the 6th and 7th of May, 2024 for their verification exercise.
Last but not least, Indigenous Applicants of Ikeja division should visit the LSSB office at Ikeja, on 9th and 10th of May, 2024 for the conduct of their verification exercise.
In a recent development, Applicants who applied for scholarship award are to note that the CBE scholarship will hold on the 4th of May, 2024.
The venue for the conduct of the examination will be communicated to the public as and when due.
It’s supremely important for all applicants to come with all necessary documents including NIN and LASSRA, A proof of payment and Online registration slip at the point of the verification exercise.
The Documentation verification exercise is a prerequisite for disbursement of fund for all qualified applicants, hence, Irregardless of the scheme applied (Bursary/scholarship), Prospective applicants must partake in the exercise either virtually or physically.
Also NOTE that applicants in the State owned institutions such as LASU, LASUCOM, LASUED; LASUSTECH; LASCON; LASCOHET and LASCOCO are exempted from the exercise haven gone through the Indigenship verification exercise at the point of entry in their various institutions.
