LSSB SCHOLARSHIP & BURSARY ADVERTISEMENT
Applications are invited from Indigenous students of Lagos state in Tertiary Institutions across the country who intend to be beneficiaries of either Bursary or Scholarship Award that Application forms for the 2022/2023 academic year will be on sale as from Thursday,1st June 2023 and closes by 12 midnight of Friday,30th June,2023.
The Lagos state scholarship Board (LSSB) is the body propounded by the Lagos state Government to oversee the affairs of Lagos state Bursary and Scholarship award application and disbursement.
Therefore,It’s Advisable for All Intending beneficiaries to make sure that they purchase and fill their forms online on or before the said date.
The Lagos state Bursary/Scholarship award are as follows:
- Bursary:#50,000.
- Scholarship:#200,000.
Application form fee are:
Undergraduate
- Bursary:#2,500.
- Scholarship:#3,500.
Postgraduate
- Masters:#5,000.
- PhD:#5,000.
The Application is opened to all Indigene of Lagos state who are students in any tertiary Institutions in Nigeria, However,It’s pertinent for all Applicants to note that the Scholarship scheme requires 3.5 CGPA while the Bursary is opened to All students irregardless of their level and CGPA.
The Scholarship applicants at the point of their online Registration will be required to upload their academic profile so as to serve as a proof of Scholarship scheme Eligibility.
LSSB SCHOLARSHIP & BURSARY 2022/23:REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The Bursary/scholarship award is limited to Indigent students in all Tertiary Institutions,Post graduate students inclusive. Sequel to the Foregoing,It’s imperative for all Applicants to upload Indigent documents in order to certify their Indigeneship.
Documents required for uploading are as follows:
- ADMISSION LETTER.
- JAMB RESULT.
- LASSRA ID CARD.
- NIN.
- BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
- ACADEMIC PROFILE (SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS ONLY).
- LETTER FROM OBA.
- LETTER FROM SECRETARY TO YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT.
- PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH.
- STUDENTS’ ID CARD.
ELIGIBILITY:
Undergraduate students who are Indigenes of Lagos state in any Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. (Polytechnic,Colleges of Education and University).
Postgraduate students in any Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. (Masters and Ph.D).
AWARD AMOUNT (VALUE)
- Scholarship applicants (Undergraduate) upon successful completion of the CBT exam will be paid #200,000.
- Bursary Applicants upon successful completion of the Application and necessary follow up will be paid #50,000.
- Postgraduate students (Masters) will be paid #300,000.
- Postgraduate students (Ph.D) will be paid #400,000.

LSSB SCHOLARSHIP AND BURSARY 2022/23:APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Visit https://portal.lagosscholarship.org/#auth-page and Click on to new registration on the tab.
2. Fill in all required details to start the Application.
3.Click on Start Application.
4. A pop up will display A GENERATED PIN, write down the pin down for future references.
5. Click on Proceed.
6. A page will display SCHOLARSHIP OR BURSARY option, pick what you applying for and Add the pin which was generated earlier on to available tab.
7. Click on Continue.
8. Then you’ll generate a Web GUID – it is a payment code that process your payment.
(Note: Kindly write down the code for reference purpose).
9. Click on Proceed to Payment.
10.Make payment with your preferred option ( it’s best to make payment with your debit card)
11. click on Proceed.
12.After completing the payment process a successful page will be display.
13.Click on the Print Revenue Receipt link below to generate evidence of payment.
14.Go back to the Lagos state Scholarship board Home page, Click on Payment Validator’ on the top tab.
15.Input your payment reference code (Web GUID).
16.Click on ‘GENERATE APPLICATION ID.
17.Payment successful Page will be displayed, Stating Your Application ID has been sent to your mail and Phone number.
18.Click on “Continue Registration.
19. Fill in your Application ID and create password, then click on Login.
20.Continue with filling the forms.
DOING ALL THIS SUCCESSFULLY, you can say you are done with registering either your BURSARY or SCHOLARSHIP form.
NB: Applicants who are not a student of Lagos state university (LASU) and Lagos state science university of technology (LASUSTECH) are to visit the LSSB office at Iyana-Ipaga for their Indigeneship interview verification exercise, details and schedule as regards that will be communicated to the public as and when due.
