The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY) had announced the Resumption of academic activities which is expected to be effective from Monday, 20th of November, 2023.
This development has been a long awaited one for the entire students as the Polytechnic has been under lock and key since Monday, October 9, 2023.
The announcement of Resumption of academic activities was conveyed to the General Public In an Internal memorandum dated 17th of November, 2023 issued and signed by the Polytechnic Registrar, Mrs Elewodalu O.O.
According to the Polytechnic Registrar, The 3 Trade Unions on the campus had decided to suspend the strike embarked upon due to the magnanimous intervention of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, (Mfr), the Executive Governor of Ogun state, who resolved issues Instrumental to the Industrial action.
The Polytechnic which had been under lock and key since October 9 had embark on a strike over non-payment of salaries and Tution fee increment.
