The Lagos state University management (LASU) had affirmed the continuation of the 2021/2022 Rain semester Examination In spite of the Initial encumbrances around the different locations in the state which Instigated from scarcity of public transport, cash scarcity crises and particularly,the riot that transpired within Iyana-Iba to Igando axis.

The University management made this known to the entire general populace via the LASU CIPPR Publication rolled out few hours ago.

In the publication,it was gathered that the 100 per cent of Students who registered for the Examination took part in the Exercise which holds successfully.

Recall that the University management had on 13th of February, promulgated the Commencement of the 2021/2022 rain semester Examination as well as the reeling out of the examination schedule amidst the FG directives on election break.

The Students of the University languished via social media platforms on the Devil-may-care attitude of the University’s senate geared towards the University community members particularly the students welfarism amidst the Up and coming election and the FG directive on halting of academic activities for 3 weeks which was shunned.

This,we believed spurred the clarification by the University management on the conduct of a stress-free Examination so far as well as the commitment on the short election break promulgated, owing to the ongoing rain semester Examination and in avoidance of enlongation of the Academic calendar.

Consequent upon this,the University management disregard any plans on the postponement of Examination as well as the Halting of academic activities as proper measures are being complied with, in order to ensure a stress-free and hitch-free 2021/2022 Rain semester Examination conduct.

“Even those who arrived late were allowed to write the examination(s)”, said one of the Departmental Heads who was invigilating”.

“The examination is set to continue on Saturday, until Thursday, 23rd February, when students are expected to go on an examination break to allow them exercise their franchise in the upcoming general elections” The publication partly reads.
