Authorities of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) had directed the Resumption of academic activities on campus for the completion 2021/2022 academic session.
This is to enable the 200l-500l students to complete their Registration and access their exam permits as well as to commence their second semester Examination which is scheduled to commence on 3rd of May,2023.
It could be recalled vividly that the University management order closure of the main campus and halt academic activities for two weeks over students’ unwarrant protest.

The Order which was opined to be effective as from 11th of April,2023 till 23rd of April,2023 has now been successfully completed as academic activities resumes fully on the 24th of April,2023.
This was contained in an Internal memorandum with reference number :AD/DVCA/V.5/005, signed and approved by the University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics),Prof J.B Ayodele.
According to the internal memorandum,All students are to return back to campus for continuation of academic activities sequel to the newly adjusted Timetable below:
- Monday,24th April to Friday 29th April,2023- completion of registration and processing of Examination permits.
- Wednesday,3rd May 2022- Commencement of Examinations.
